Glide Magazine

While we head into election day, everyone might be questioning many an item on the agenda, but the song title can mean many an item as we head into November 5th. Glide is premiering “Am I American,” the blistering lead single from his highly anticipated album Small Actors on October 24th. This thought-provoking track, born from the ashes of Nashville’s 2020 Christmas Day bombing, serves as a potent commentary on modern American identity.

Rock and Roll Globe

Sometimes the most talented person in the room isn’t the artist, but rather one of the folks working in the background of the artist. Such is the case of Ethan Samuel Brown, who by day serves as the stage manager for Wynonna Judd. However, behind the scenes, this Kentucky-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter is forging his own road down the sonic highway himself with a musical style that brings together Appalachian storytelling with the sound of such modern-day folk-rock heroes as Father John Misty, Futurebirds and the Head and the Heart.

No Depression

Small Actors shines a light on the beauty and pain we all contain, and Brown gives that duality dignity. After all, as the saying goes, there are no small parts.
